Delta Airlines Phishing Email Campaign
National Penn is aware of public reports of an active phishing attack via email messages claiming to be from Delta Airlines. These messages may contain the subject line "Your Order #73017923 has been APPROVED”, and the sender email address may contain “Delta Airlines [mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org]”.
The messages indicate that your credit card was successfully processed and ask users to click on a link to download and print their bogus Airline Ticket. The links point to a malicious website which distributes malware onto your computer.
These are very similar phishing email messages which we have seen falsely claiming to be from American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, US Airways and now Delta Airlines.
Please be on alert!
Anyone receiving one of these potentially malicious emails should immediately delete the email without clicking any of the links or downloading file attachments.

We encourage you to take the following preventative measures to help mitigate the security risks:
- Do not follow unsolicited links and do not open unsolicited email messages.
- Use caution when opening email attachments.
- Use caution when visiting untrusted websites.
